Applications:

Dust is a major issue and a recurring problem of particular inconvenience during demolition work. The hoses traditionally used until now have been, at best, incompetent in terms of consolidating dust. They are also guilty of causing puddles and mud on building sites. The dust controllers developed by EmiControls work differently in that they generate a fine atomized mist. The ultra-fine particles of water enable this mist to achieve a greater range of coverage and to consolidate more dust. Far less water is used in the process, thus also preventing the formation of muddy puddles.

The dust controllers developed by EmiControls have now also proved their usefulness in other sectors of industry. They are frequently used in open-pit mining and at recycling plants. Another outstanding feature of dust controllers in the latter application is their ability to prevent smells and odors from developing.

The machines have lately been undergoing a series of tests to assess their suitability for use in the chemical industry. A purpose-built model is being used in this industry for the abatement of pollutant clouds and has already proved its efficiency in scientific tests.
