Demolition
Dust is a major issue and a recurring problem during demolition work. The hoses traditionally used are heavy on water consumption and deliver highly unsatisfactory results. Companies which can guarantee clean demolition processes are viewed favorably by contracting bodies and have a significant edge over their competitors who try to control the dust problem by conventional means.
Members of the Deutscher Abbruchverband [German Demolition Association] have assessed the performance of the dct40 dust-laying sprayer and have issued the following evaluation:
- The dct40 has proved its reliability and efficiency for demolition work.
- The fine atomized mist consolidates far more dust than a normal fire hose. The dust particles are consolidated at source, preventing them from spreading in the air.
- A far greater range is covered.
- The long-front excavator driver can use the remote control supplied with the product to swing the gun into position and adjust its angle of incline, thus saving on labor costs.
- Water consumption is considerably lower, preventing puddles from forming on the construction site.
The dct5 model is particularly useful for small demolition jobs.
